How does it work?
    Rental Plan

    You sign a 10 year rental plan

    We install a brand new, complete HIGH EFFICIENCY heating system
    • The system is independently inspected, approved and certified
    • You do nothing more for 10 YEARS!

    We service, maintain, safety check, and repair the whole system for 10 years!
What do you get?
    Heatshare10 High efficiency boilers
    • A completely new heating system including all new controls, Part L compliant
    •
    New condensing Band A, High efficiency boiler either combination or heat only
    •
    10 year warranty on ALL parts and labour, including emergency call outs
    •
    24/7/365 maintenance service contract including annual landlords safety certificate and legal compliance
Which boilers will be used?
    Glow worm, Vaillant, BAXI, Potterton, Worcester
    • Only well known brands with established records and reputations who you approve
    •
    Worcester, Vaillant, Glow-worm, Baxi, Potterton or other mutually agreed manufacturers
    •
    All boilers will be Band A Condensing, HIGH EFFICIENCY combi or heat only
    •
    Only proven models will be installed and will be approved by you!
What equipment will be used?
    Quinn, Siemens, Honeywell, Ariston
    •
    Only known branded products will be used
    •
    Quinn radiators or approved alternative
    •
    Siemens / Honeywell controls, or approved alternative
    •
    Ariston unvented cylinders, or approved alternative
    • Kitemarked copper and fittings
What happens after 10 years?
    Heatshare10 for a further 10 years
    •
    You can elect for us to fit a new boiler, and give you a further 10 year rental
    •
    You can simply engage us to carry on the maintenance and repairs contract on a
    3 Star 5 Year term basis
    •
    Ownership and responsibility for the system can revert to you for a nominal fee
What does it cost?
    Heatshare10 rental £8.00 per week!
    •
    Rental - £8.00 per week!
    Based on 2010 rates, for a two bedroom flat with combination boiler and 6 radiators
    •
    Maintenance £2.30 per week.
    Equivalent to less than £120 p.a. for a full 5 star, 24/7/365 planned and responsive service / maintenance contract
    •
    Total less than £11.00 per week
Are Costs ‘fixed’ for 10 years?
    Heatshare10 fixed costs
    •
    Your rental payment will not change for ten years from date of initial agreement
    •
    Your service contract cost will rise only by annual indexed increase, as do all service contracts
    •
    This is the only scheme available to give these guarantees, for such a long term
What other costs are there?
    Heatshare10 rental costs

    There is a nominal minor ‘one off’ fee to pay in connection with the rental agreement
    •
    There are no other costs, other than your agreed rental and the annual service contract
    •
    The rental cost will be greater for larger or different systems, which can be calculated by you from a simple “Shopping List”
Do I have to pay over 10 years?

    No, the guarantees are the same even if the new system is installed on a normal contract.
What is not covered?
    Heatshare10 is a 5 Star All Inclusive Plan, however, normal exclusions apply

    Accidental or wilful damage by residents or third parties

What if spares become unavailable?

    Equipment is carefully selected by us with guarantees from manufacturers
    •
    If spares do become unavailable in spite of this, Birchcroft will replace any irreparable part of the system at no cost to you and without delay to your residents

    The whole of the scheme is designed, installed and maintained ‘in house’ by Birchcroft
